On 14-15 September, St-Germain presents La Maison Wellness, their inaugural Wellness Weekend at Paramount Recreation Club in Surry Hills, demonstrating that having fun and enjoying life’s pleasures is all about balance. With a philosophy centred on mindful drinking and healthy hedonistic living, St-Germain hopes to use the event as a platform to promote wellness and the brand’s ethos to slow down and enjoy the pleasures in life.
With a low alcohol volume (ABV), and as the world’s first finely crafted, all-natural elderflower liqueur, St-Germain is subtle and delicate, with up to 1,000 handpicked elderflowers in every bottle, making it the ideal choice for daytime drinking. The St-Germain Wellness Weekend will be hosted by Camille Vidal, the founder of La Maison Wellness, who will lead a yoga and meditation class followed by brunch or aperitivo bites with St-Germain cocktails. Tickets to the St-Germain x La Maison Wellness 2-hour sessions are $28 (plus a booking fee).
A native to the South of France, Camille, who is a qualified yoga and meditation teacher, has combined her passion and 15 years experience in the drinks industry, to talk about the importance of a balanced lifestyle, and what wellness and mindfulness means for the hospitality industry and beyond. Camille’s achievements include being voted one of the Women Leading the Drink Industry by Forbes magazine and publishing two books – How to Drink French Fluently and How to Spritz French Fluently.
Of the partnership with St-Germain, Camille said she was excited to continue working with the brand, which also promotes the notion of mindful drinking through its elegant elixirs.
“St-Germain is a drink for those who care about their mind and body as much as they enjoy cocktails,” Camille Vidal said. “Australians are very passionate about keeping fit, however living well doesn’t mean cutting things out of your life, but instead growing all the good things – like enjoying a good quality drink in moderation.”
“As a healthy hedonist, it’s important to celebrate life by drinking well, eating well and living well in order to create your own balance to live in a way that makes you feel good. It’s about inclusivity and empowering people to make decisions that work for them” continued Vidal.
With a focus on drinking well, eating well and living well and combining a love of yoga and having a fun time with a drink in hand, the St-Germain x La Maison Wellness events will be held on Saturday 14th September from 12:30-2:30pm and 3:30-5:30pm, and Sunday 15th September from 11:30am-1:30pm and 2:30-4:30pm. Attendees will receive a take home gift consisting of a sports bag, sports towel, two StGermain glasses, a 50ml St-Germain bottle and a recipe card for making your very own St-Germain cocktail at home.
