Applications now open for support through Bundaberg Rum’s Raising the Bar
Oct 12, 2020
Whether your venue is currently allowed to serve customers on-site, you’re only operating as a take-away business, or you’re coming out of lockdown, the fund aims to support your recovery and rebuilding efforts. Examples of this support to approved applicants may include supply of essential safety equipment, mobile bars, umbrellas, take-away/disposable containers, bespoke kits, and PR and media promotional support.
The application process outlines options to apply for immediate, medium, and long-term support. Immediate support will provide essential safety equipment as part of the ‘Bear Cares Safety’ package.
Medium-term support will promote safe outdoor socialising through the ‘Bundy Bear Garden’ package. These packages will help venues host safe on-premise experiences for their patrons both indoors and outdoors. Long-term support through the ‘Bearspoke’ package will provide tailored solutions for selected venues to promote safe on-premise experiences including safe live sport viewing.
With the current trading guidelines across our states and territories increasing the financial burden on many venues through increased and additional overheads, we encourage you to head to the site by clicking here and submit an application if your venue could benefit from any of the support on offer.
While Raising the Bar is a Bundaberg Rum initiative, you don’t need to be an existing Bundaberg Rum/Diageo customer to qualify for support.
There’s also a suite of free assets and resources already available on Diageo Bar Academy to help your venue operate safely, create memorable experiences for your guests, and look out for your employees.
You can find further information on Raising the Bar and the application process on the submission page. Applications are open and support will be awarded now through to end June 2022 or until support funding is exhausted.
