JOB DESCRIPTION

We're looking for hardworking, high-energy and passionate Floor Staff & Bartenders to join the team. 

Working as part of the team, you will be an essential ingredient in guaranteeing an incredible customer service experience to our patron, whether you are slinging cocktails, delivering food to tables or taking orders at the bar. 

An enduring entertainment icon in the East, The Golden Sheaf is a heritage listed, community institution that has welcomed generations of locals and visitors through its doors. From city slickers to party-goers and ladies who lunch, The Golden Sheaf is proud to be a part of the fabric of the Eastern Suburbs.
  
Providing the perfect escape from city life immersed beneath the iconic 80-year-old fig tree, The Golden Sheaf has it all. From delicious food from the kitchen to chilled out vibes in the beer garden, live music & DJs every weekend & cocktails on the rooftop. Day or night, Monday to Sunday. Our staff enjoy the wide variety a day at The Sheaf brings.  Mix with friendly locals and afternoon corporates through to the young regular faces frequenting 'Schwednesdays' (Wednesday night is an institution!) - we love it here and think it's absolutely a fun place to be!

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 6 months previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

For Runners - having worked in some of Sydney’s busiest pubs or restaurants, juggling three plates will be easy, having had extensive food runner or wait staff experience. You will love interacting with customers and playing a vital role in the smooth operation of the venue.

For Bartenders - Mixing, slinging and creating incredible cocktails & managing a busy bar is in your DNA.  Having worked in high volume pubs or restaurants behind the bar will set you up for success.
