Newtown Festival – By the People, For the People.
The ever colourful, always wonderful Newtown Festival returns in 2019 for its 41st year, inviting the community to immerse themselves in a day full of music, talks, workshops and more! The festival will once again feature the Eco Village, Better Read Than Dead Writers Tents, Kids Zone, Sassy Treats Dog Show and close to 300 stalls selling food, beverages, arts, crafts, fashion and more.
As a key fundraiser for the Newtown Neighbourhood Centre, the Festival will fill Camperdown Memorial Rest Park with all your favourite elements of the Inner West on Sunday 10 November from 9:30AM – 5:30PM.
Produced by NNC, the Festival generates funds and awareness to enable the Centre to provide frontline services for those doing it most tough in the Inner West, thanks to generous donations from the community. It’s a day to honour Newtown’s vibrant, unique and accepting community whilst supporting individuals who need a bit of help.
Entry to the festival is an expected contribution of $5.00+ (cash or pay pass available), and all contributions received go directly to the Neighbourhood Centre and the people, programs and services it provides, so please give generously!
Help make Newtown Festival the biggest and best festival for social change in Australia. See you on 10 November!
