Founded in 2003 by Charles Rolls and Tim Warrillow, Fever-Tree began with the two minds meeting, and one simple premise; that if three quarters of your drink is the mixer, wouldn’t you want it to be the best?
They discovered that there was a distinct lack of product suitable for mixing and pairing with premium spirits and customers were shifting towards a preference for quality drinking but were faced with poor-quality offerings. And thus began the hunt, for the best ingredients on offer from around the world, starting with quinine from the Democratic Republic of Congo, a journey that continues to this day.
Fever-Tree came onto the market officially in 2005, following 18 months of research and product development, with the Premium Indian Tonic Water, an award-winning liquid and favourite amongst consumers worldwide to this day. The production of this led to the development of other signature tonics, such as the beloved Mediterranean, Aromatic, and Elderflower that revolutionised the market, and brought choice back for consumers, giving them a high-quality mixer to work with.
Since then, Fever-Tree has expanded its range beyond tonics, into ginger beers and ales, lemonades, flavoured sodas, and even colas, catering to the broad scope of mixing, available in over 50 countries worldwide. The mission to reignite the mixing market has always remained front of mind, as the brand and product expansions have continued to grow, we have never faltered on the core focus
