As an Assistant Bar Manager at Kimpton Margot Sydney, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our vibrant and dynamic Wilmot Bar. You will work closely with the Director of Restaurant & Bars to deliver exceptional guest experiences, manage a team of dedicated colleagues, uphold responsible business practices, and maintain financial accountability. Responsibilities:

• Be approachable, authentic, and solutions driven.

• Excellent end-user of IT applications/systems.
• Advanced knowledge of food safety principles and practices.
• Available to work on-call, shifts, after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays.
• Excellent knowledge of BOH systems, ordering and inventory.
• Working knowledge of the Hospitality Industry (General) Award 2020.

Qualifitcations

• Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a bar or restaurant setting.
• Strong knowledge of mixology, cocktail preparation, and beverage trends.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with guests, team members, and senior management.
• Proficient in managing financial aspects, including budgeting, cost control, and inventory management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a diverse team, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Familiarity with responsible alcohol service regulations and health and safety standards.
• Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and upholding the IHG strong reputation for excellence.
