JOB DESCRIPTION

The Greengate Hotel, Killara, has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, energetic and experienced Manager to join the functions team!

The role is to ensure flawless executions of all events from corporate events to weddings, birthdays and everything in between.

We require a hands on person that is  professional with clients and highly motivated. 

You will need to have previous experience in a similar role and be able to lead a team as well as work solo.

Food & Beverage Manager
Restaurant Manager
Shift Manager
Venue Manager
Cafe Manager

Please note: You should have a minimum 2 years previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Strong leadership skills 
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to have a flexible roster
  • Responsibilities include -

  • Coordinating the set up and pack down of events
  • Liaise with client and key staff to ensure the smooth running of events
  • Deliver outstanding service at all events
  • Lead, train and mentor your team
  • Trouble shoot problems that arise throughout events
  • Provide feedback on events, monitor and action improvements
