JOB DESCRIPTION

Dalgety 2.0 Public House is the local institution in Teneriffe. We pride ourselves on producing pub food that keeps the locals coming back week in week out.

We are seeking a motivated, well trained assistant chef to join our team and newly launched menu. The role requires the successful candidate to work under the current Head Chef. The Assistant Chef will also need need to maintain high standards of cooking knowledge, technical skill and be able to teach team members alongside them.

The Dalgety group is looking to expand within Brisbane, Gold Coast and Interstate. So, the potential to increase earning capacity and responsibilities is a medium to long term goal.

REQUIREMENTS

Listed below is the basic requirements for the role.

  • Demonstrated experience in an Assistant Head Chef role or equivalent, within a high paced environment.
  • Positive and hard working attitude regardless of the situation and demand.
  • The ability to lead and train when required.
  • Have knowledge and technical skill to deliver high quality consistent food.
  • Input into menu design and costing.
  • Eligibility to work within Australia.
