Here at Postmaster, we are looking for a proactive assistant manager to join our team! We are seeking someone who shares our passion for both food and beverages of all varieties. 

The opportunity exists for an enthusiastic team player to join our  team. Postmaster Hotel is open 7 days a week, with many functions and events held on Friday & Saturday nights, you will be expected to supervise some of these functions or work them.

The successful candidate will require knowledge of all bar and service operations, stock control, rosters and staff supervision. The position is 'hands-on' and requires a strong work ethic, friendly approach & positive attitude.

A la carte service & function experience is necessary along with a supervisory background to assist with overseeing the day to day operations.

Other requirements include:

A current RSA certificate 

Sound knowledge of functions, bar and restaurant operations 

Communication & problem-solving skills 

Attention to detail & customer focused 

Availability & flexible approach to working hours to meet business demands

At least 2 year experience in a restaurant/ bar environment

Being a pub weekend and night work will be required.
