JOB DESCRIPTION

Our food is a fun and modern combination of French & Vietnamese cuisine, with a nod here and there to other SE Asian cultures. About the Opportunity

We are seeking the industry’s best Assistant Manager to join our team and deliver outstanding customer service and leadership. An unwavering passion for hospitality and extensive wine knowledge are essential. This hands-on role emphasizes service excellence and teamwork.

Main Role Responsibilities

  • Ensure the delivery of exceptional guest service during all service periods.
  • Oversee the guest experience and assist with wine-related Training and Development programs, including induction plans, buddy shifts, and other service training.
  • Complete assigned opening and/or closing duties, ensuring crew, equipment, stock, stations, and the floor are ready for service.

REQUIREMENTS

Experience, Skills & Attributes

  • Demonstrated experience as a Supervisor/Manager in a premium dining environment.
  • A positive attitude and great demeanor are essential.
  • Exceptional service skills with a strong guest focus.
  • Highly adaptable, able to perform under high-pressure service periods.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience as a Junior Sommelier or Wine Waitstaff in fine dining and/or high-volume restaurants.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and organizational abilities.
  • Experience with stock control and inventory management.
  • Proactive work ethic with a "can-do" attitude.
  • Passion for the hospitality and wine industries, with a desire to advance your career.
  • Ability and willingness to mentor and lead others.
  • Availability to work weekends, public holidays, and opening/closing shifts.
  • WSET, CMS qualification, or equivalent is advantageous.
