We are seeking an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join the team at ECQ venues, a growing hospitality group in Sydney. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for supporting the Restaurant Manager in the day-to-day operations of our bustling restaurant in central Sydney.

What you'll be doing

• Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing all front-of-house operations, including staffing, customer service, and reservations

• Ensure the restaurant runs efficiently and to high standards of quality and service

• Effectively lead, motivate and develop the front-of-house team

• Handle customer queries and complaints in a professional and timely manner

• Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain menu consistency and quality

• Contribute to the development of new initiatives to enhance the customer experience

What we're looking for

• Minimum 1 year experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager or similar role in a fast-paced hospitality environment

• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team

• Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving skills

• Understanding of food and beverage operations and industry regulations

• Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering an exceptional dining experience
