We are looking for a motivated, adaptable Assistant Manager to join the team at The Rook. Located in Sydney's CBD near beautiful Darling Harbor, The Rook Rooftop is a fantastic venue for a manager looking to the next step in their career.

This cocktail bar and restaraunt is suitable for an existing AVM looking for a change of scenery or a budding duty manager looking for their next challange to join our intimate and collaborative team A passion for food and beverage is a must, with a focus on great customer experience.

Reporting to the Venue Manager, the successful applicant will be skilled at building and maintaining stakeholder relationships, with an innovative and solutions-focused approach to delivering the highest customer service to all guests.

What we're looking for:

• 2+ years in a management role in a similar venue
• Extensive Food & Beverage knowledge 
• Understanding and ability to learn venue reporting and systems on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
• Presence on the floor during peak service periods, including nights and weekends
• Experience in rostering ans staff time management
• Ability to stock take and investigate the stock loss
• Train, performance manage, and motivate staff
• Work with and communicate effectively within a team
• Experience with H&L, Ivy & Seven rooms desirable
