The Apollo Bay Hotel is undergoing some exciting changes and is looking for a dedicated Assistant Venue Manager to join the already established team. We seek a driven leader with proven experience managing a similar venue. Maintaining a rapport with staff and locals will be imperative while creating a fun and accommodating atmosphere.

The historic, beachside venue has served the community since 1885 as the prominent pub in the area, offering customers a family-friendly bistro, al fresco dining on a large ocean-facing veranda, accommodation, and a function room. Facing the Apollo Bay beach (voted one of the best beaches in Aus) and remaining a mainstay for locals during the cooler seasons while attracting tourists from all over the world in Summer, The Apollo Bay Hotel is the perfect place to make a name for yourself in the hospitality industry.

• Proven hospitality management experience 
• A passion for the industry and commitment to a successful career in hospitality 
• Capacity to work in a team environment while leading from the front
• Experience in developing and executing operational procedures
• Exceptional customer service and presentation skills
• Extensive restaurant & bar experience
• Fun, positive & outgoing personality 
• Current RSA
• Previous experience with Ivvy, Seven rooms & functions experience desirable but not necessary
