I am over 18We are looking for an enthusiastic and charismatic Assistant Venue Manager to join our team at The Welcome. Our ideal candidates have worked in busy pubs and are experienced in team supervision and are ready to take the next step. Food also plays an integral part of the venue’s offerings and customer service is our highest priority. We value personality, commitment and a can-do attitude as the keys to success.
The Role:
The overall shift operation and leadership including delivery of food & beverage
Leading and managing a team to be the best versions of themselves
Regular coaching, training and mentoring of staff to improve performance and service standards
Cost control with a focus on labour and stock handling accuracy
Adherence & reporting to compliance and legislative matters
Creation of the atmosphere
Continuous improvement in operations and service
Please note: You should have a minimum up to 2 years previous experience in the above or similar roles.
Sound knowledge of (and interest in) food and wine.
Strong leadership skills & passion for team development
An ability to think outside the square and provide solutions to problems
Proven experience working in a multi-faceted business - Food, Beverage, Events.
Effective time management and organisational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Knowledge of current liquor legislation
Hands on approach with a natural ability to lead a team to be the best they can
Interview required
