About the Role:

iPlay, located in Ed Square, is one of our  stores in Australia! we cater for all ages and all skill levels. Being such a unique iPlay venue, it is crucial we have a superstar team driving the store and as such are looking for an innovative and passionate Assistant Venue Manager. Being led by an experienced and dedicated Venue Manager, you will be given the opportunity to demonstrate your leadership skills and have genuine input and accountability in the daily operations of the venue.

About You:

  • Proven experience with hands on supervisory/assistant management role of daily operations of a business.
  • Strong knowledge of general retail, hospitality and catering operations
  • Must be able to prioritize and work well under pressure.
  • Must be a “people person” and be able to professionally deal with different personalities, both internal and external with a goal for encouraging personal development within the team.
  • Able to proactively motivate and encourage your team to drive sales and provide the highest level of customer service to ensure EVERY guest has a FUN and MEMORABLE time at iPlay.
  • A proactive, can do attitude.
  • Reliable work ethic and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Flexible availability for shifts during the day, night and weekends.

REQUIREMENTS

About You:

  • Minimum 2-3 years experience with hands on management of day to day operations
  • Experience in the retail, entertainment, hospitality or tourism industries would be fantastic.
  • Experience and an understanding of controlling wages, operation costs, stock levels, KPI's
  • Able to prioritize and work well under pressure.
  • Able to drive sales and motivate and grow your team
  • Available to work weekends, public holidays and school holidays.
