JOB DESCRIPTION

Located in the heart of Taylor Square, the Courthouse Hotel & Kinselas Hotel are seeking experienced Assistant Managers who are ready to take on their next challenge and enhance their career. As an Assistant Manager, you will support and assist the Venue Manager in high standard operations with a focus on delivering a seamless end-to-end customer experience and culture of performance. While in this role, you will be exposed to all facets of a thriving hospitality business inclusive of gaming, food, beverage, and people to grow and develop your managerial skills in a hands-on role, coupling both FOH and BOH duties. 

Your Experience & Skills

  • Previous management experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Passionate about customer experience and high standards of customer service.
  • Seek constant learning and development with previous exposure to business strategies.
  • Driven to learn, grow and advance your career, and of those around you. 
  • Hold a valid NSW RSA and RCG with the confidence to act on these requirements.

Your Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support the Venue Manager in daily venue operations and venue compliance. 
  • Seek to ensure our exceptional venue standards are met regarding venue cleanliness, presentation, and customer service.
  • Assist in managing a team of bar, gaming, and food service staff members. 
  • Responsible for the opening and closing of the venue.
  • Cash handling and reconciliation tasks. 
  • Complete daily reporting.

This is an exciting full-time salaried position with a flexible roster including day, night, and weekend.
