JOB DESCRIPTION

Dee why hotel is a vibrant and modern bar that is a testimony to the Northern Beaches lifestyle. With an impressive brasserie menu, including some of the beaches best burgers; a huge beverage offering that includes a massive range of beers on tap and a signature cocktail list; TAB facilities and a 30 machine gaming room.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hands-on, customer focused manager with a genuine love of the hospitality industry to join our team. If you are looking to grow and develop a business autonomously and relish ownership, you have found your opportunity. You will be vital in the day-to-day operations of the hotel, involved in all aspects of operations including, gaming, TAB, staff management, rostering and training, customer service and the coordination of products and promotions.

REQUIREMENTS

To be successful you will need:

  • Previous experience as a pub or restaurant manager
  • Current RSA/RCG
  • Ability to drive high volume teams and deliver successful services
  • Be able to consistently demonstrate a high level of customer service under pressure
  • Accurate cash handling and reconciliation ability and be able to pass this skill on this on to the team through training and development
  • Acute stock awareness and staff management
  • Able to drive staff and achieve results while being firm and fair
  • Consistently drive and follow up to achieve results
  • Must be approachable and calm
  • Well presented
  • Solid communication skills
