JOB DESCRIPTION

The Cat & Fiddle Hotel in Balmain is a must-see for anyone looking to immerse themselves in authentic Australian culture. Our restaurant serves classic pub meals as well as modern Australian cuisine which you can enjoy as takeaway or dining in. 

We are growing our team and are on the hunt for gun Bartenders and Section Waiters to join our amazing team at our fresh and fun inner west venue! 

A genuine love for hospitality is a must!

RECOMMENDED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Bartender
Cocktail Bartender
Bar Manager
Food & Beverage Manager
Bar Supervisor
Food & Beverage Supervisor
Waitstaff
Waitstaff (Fine Dining)

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 6 months previous experience in the above or similar roles.

REQUIREMENTS

Section Waiters

  • Well presented friendly customer focused people
  • Must have good English
  • Able to work weekends and night shifts on a regular basis
  • RSA certificate
  • 2 years experience in taking orders, and proven in a similar role
  • Wine knowledge a plus
  • Able to sell specials and gain knowledge of both food menu and drinks menu

 

Bar Staff

  • RSA and RSG certificates
  • Well presented fun attitude and customer focused
  • Cocktail & wine knowledge a must
  • 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Good knowledge of pos and till use

 

 



Interview required

Induction/onboarding required prior to starting role
