JOB DESCRIPTION

Central Lounge Bar in Surfers Paradise is looking for an experienced bar superstar to manage the bar team.

  • Demonstrated experience as bartender or above in a high volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of wines, cocktails and spirits.
  • Must have RSA & RMLV
  • Be available to work weekends and public holidays where required
  • Be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a calm demeanour
  • Be dedicated to providing 5 star customer service with flair & showmanship
  • Take pride in personal presentation and hygiene
  • Take ownership and create some memorable cocktails!

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 6 months previous experience in the above or similar roles.

REQUIREMENTS

To be successful in these roles, the ideal candidates will have:

  • Competent and creative cocktail skills
  • A robust and broad knowledge of NZ and Australian wine
  • Experience working in similar style venues either in New Zealand, Australia or internationally
  • Drive to make a positive impact on every guest’s experience
  • Energy, motivation and a positive attitude
  • A customer focus pair with a passion for providing excellent hospitality
  • An unshakeable smile
  • The ability to engage customers and build relationships with the regular patrons
  • RMLV - Approved Managers License Required For QLD
