JOB DESCRIPTION

About us

Since opening in 2017 Neptune has cemented itself as a dynamic south-side venue featuring bar, restaurant and function space.

We are looking for a driven, enthusiastic individual to flex their creativity and knowledge across the bar. You will work closely with the venue manager in the operation of the venue whilst developing your industry skills and know how.

This is full time salary role.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Bar Operations - stock ordering and management, staff recruitment and training
  • Beverage Management - curate and maintain a current & diverse beverage list across wine, cocktails, spirits and beer
  • Meet with suppliers & achieve set COGS targets
  • Customer Service - running a smooth service and ensuring all beverages are delivered to a high standard
  • Venue cash up and closing

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications & experience

  • 2 Years experience in a similar role
  • In depth product knowledge in wine & spirits
  • Ability to write, cost and implement cocktail/wine lists
  • RSA
  • WSET Preferred
  • Strong organisational skills


Interview required

Induction/onboarding required prior to starting role
