The Venue

Bert’s is a bar and brasserie reminiscent of the grand hotel dining rooms of the 1930s, with the relaxed air of Sydney’s northern beaches. Overlooking Pittwater and the grounds of The Newport, serving up mouth-watering European inspired dishes paired with a handpicked wine selection. Bert's oozes opulent dining with a neighbourhood beach vibe, that’s attracting locals and venturers alike. 

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Bar Manager to join our wonderful team at Bert's. You will be managing the day-to-day operations of this bustling, restaurant bar. This is not only a dispense bar for the restaurant but a popular choice for aperitifs and digestifs, as well as a sophisticated choice for social drinks. You will lead and develop a team, drive revenue, understand and manage stock, define and design the product offering and ensure the ambience of the bar is always on point.  

You will have:

• 2+ years experience in a senior bar manager position
• experience leading a team of bartenders
• a strong and passionate cocktail and spirit knowledge
• a true bar enthusiast attitude
• be a self-starter and driven to succeed in this role
• passionate about taking the team with you on a creative journey, to ensure that we are delivering an exceptional guest experience and an outstanding product.
