JOB DESCRIPTION

We’re looking for experienced bar/hospitality staff to serve guests in our beautiful venues, either Lightspace or Loyal Hope in Fortitude Valley.  A typical shift will run from 5pm/ 6pm to 11.30pm/ midnight on Friday and Saturday nights, though there may also be some mid-week and Sunday work available.  As it’s usually only two shifts per week the role really suits someone studying or with another job.

Tasks include…

– ensuring the bar is ready for kick-off 

– offering friendly and professional service 

– serving over the bar and running the POS system

– assisting patron’s safe exit from the venue and clean-up 

Previous hospitality experience in a similar environment is essential, as is an eye for detail, responsible attitude and a passion for assisting execute unique events.  

We offer a fantastic venue to work in with a great bunch of people. There is also some flexibility in weekend shifts. Street parking is usually freely available.

Lightspace

Lightspace is a unique warehouse venue in Brisbane’s creative precinct of Fortitude Valley. With ample open space, the venue can be booked as one 660m2 room, or two distinct internal spaces. These can be subdivided into smaller areas for more intimate functions. Each hire has exclusive use as we never host two events at the same time.
