JOB DESCRIPTION

Misery Guts bar is looking for an experienced bartender to join our little family!

You have excellent customer service skills, a willingness to learn and a positive vibe.

You’ll be able to interact confidently with our customers, show initiative and be able to multi-task.

 

RECOMMENDED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Bartender

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 1 year previous experience in the above or similar roles.

REQUIREMENTS

 

  • To ensure customer delight within the bar 
  • Valid RSA
  • Be available and reliable to work weekend nights
  • To assist the manager in all day to day operations


Interview required

Induction/onboarding required prior to starting role

Misery Guts is a well-supported, community minded venue that showcases independent beers on tap, locals tinnies, a short sharp wine list and stiff classic and unusual cocktails. Our toasties the size of Texas have fast become a cult hit over the six and bit years we have been open. We are in the midst of having live music returning to the venue, which will only expand and develop our patronage and community. We are a close knit family that relies on repeat patronage from our locals and welcoming in new faces.... Especially coming into what we think will be a bumper Spring/Summer!
