Key Responsibilities:

• Drink Preparation & Service: Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines

• Cocktail Craftsmanship: Create classic and signature cocktails consistently and with flair (if applicable to venue)

• Customer Service: Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing recommendations and ensuring a welcoming bar experience

• Speed & Efficiency: Maintain speed and accuracy under pressure, particularly during peak periods and busy service times

• Stock & Inventory: Restock spirits, wine, beer, garnishes, and glassware; assist in stock rotation, requisition, and stocktake processes

• Cleanliness & Compliance: Ensure the bar area is clean, sanitised, and organised at all times; comply with all RSA and hygiene regulations

• Cash Handling: Operate the POS system efficiently for order taking and payment processing; manage bar tabs accurately

• Teamwork: Support barbacks, floor staff, and management to ensure smooth service flow throughout the venue

• Safety & RSA: Monitor guest alcohol consumption, act responsibly and intervene when necessary in accordance with RSA guidelines

• Strong knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and cocktail preparation

Preferred Experience & Requirements:

• 1+ years of bar experience in a fast-paced hospitality setting preferred

• Sound understanding of cocktail and beverage service standards

• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate — mandatory

• Availability for evenings, weekends, and public holidays
