The Queen’s Head Bar & Eatery

The Queen’s Head Bar & Eatery has a history stretching back to the 1800s. The gastro pub is open all day, serving up simple but delicious New Zealand comfort food with a modern twist.  Dishes will always be home cooked with the freshest seasonal ingredients, locally sourced wherever possible.

An ever-changing craft beer menu, courtesy of the Four Points Signature Best Brews™ program will keep even the most discerning beer lover happy.  A range of New Zealand and international wines are also available.

About The Role

• Make excellent barista coffees for our guests
• Engage with guests to create trust and loyalty to our brand
• Serve and sell food & beverages, focusing on upselling key menu items
• Understand menu content, any menu changes, and promotional activities
• Maintain a clean, tidy and well-prepared service area at all times
• Proper settlement of all guest accounts
• Conduct stock-take and maintain par level of items
• Ensure a high level of product knowledge of the hotel facilities, hotel food & beverage offerings
• Ensure standards of service are consistently achieved

• Someone who has a genuine love for coffee and the hospitality industry and is eager to learn more

• Exceptional Barista skills essential
• Previous hospitality experience preferred
• Genuine excitement and passion for the industry
