We are a busy cafe seeking a competent and experienced Barista to join our team. Applicants preferably have worked in a fast-paced café/restaurant environment.

Glory Days is a coffee shop located in the 100 Mount street building in North Sydney.

It hosts a range of specialty guest coffee roasters from Australia (occasionally overseas) that rotate across espresso and filter. A small but tasty food offering with house-made cold drinks.

You must operate proficiently on a La Marzocco strada, sp2 Anfim, and Ek43. Any experience with LM machines is also fine. 

Trading hours are Mon-Fri 7am - 3pm. 

Brief Job Description:

• Preparing and serving hot and cold drinks such as coffee, tea, artisan and specialty beverages.
• Cleaning and sanitizing work areas, utensils and equipment
• Cleaning service and seating areas
• Describing menu items and suggesting products to customers
• Servicing customers and taking orders
• Ordering, receiving and distributing stock supplies
• Receiving and processing customer payments
• Ordering and managing products
• Attend training sessions
• Attend all work meetings

• You will need to love hospitality, working in a great team and serving the public
• You must be able to demonstrate a bright, bubbly, friendly personality and have a natural aptitude for providing the highest level of customer service
• You will have an eye for detail, excellent personal presentation, a committed work ethic and a professional and confident communication style
• In addition to working behind the coffee machine you will be involved in all general cafe work including food handling, table/counter service, cash/eftpos handling, & maintaining cleanliness standards
• Applicants must be flexible and be available to work a variety of day and weekend shifts
