JOB DESCRIPTION

LOCA Cafe is looking for an experienced Barista to join the team.

We can offer a range of shift options including set shifts, a fun working environment and a chance to make the best coffee in town.

The successful applicant must be:

  • Experience of a minimum 2years;  
  • Fast on the machine but still maintaining the highest of quality;
  • Must have confidence in their abilities;
  • Strong communicator and able to work as part of a team;
  • Hold or be able to hold an RSA
  • Must be reliable with shifts.

About LOCA

We are located in Hope Island and have a strong regular customer base that continues to grow. 

We have a busy drive-thru and a dog-friendly attitude which has many of our customers pets just as excited to see our staff as their owns are.

We like to have a bit of fun and not take ourselves too seriously but we do take making good quality, fast coffee seriously.

RECOMMENDED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Barista

Please note: You should have a minimum 2 years previous experience in the above or similar roles.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 2 years experience;
  • Love working in a cafe environment;
  • Bright, friendly, drama free personality;
  • Able to make seriously good coffee;
  • In addition to working behind the coffee machine you will be involved in general cafe work including food handling, counter service, cash/eftpos handling & maintaining cleanliness standards
