Today, Merlo is proud to be one of Australia’s leading independently owned and operated coffee roasters, who supply the public, our own Merlo Coffee stores and 1,700 cafes and restaurants with freshly roasted coffee around the country every day.

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Barista at our QUT, Gardens Point store. This exciting opportunity is perfect for individuals passionate about coffee and customer service, who are eager to expand their knowledge and grow within the coffee industry.


RECOMMENDED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Barista
Food & Beverage Attendant
Retail / Customer Service

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 1 year previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

About you

The ideal candidate will have: 

  • At least 1 year barista experience in high volume coffee making.
  • Available 20-25 hours per week
  • A passion for coffee 
  • A fun, hardworking and energetic attitude towards work
  • Work well in a busy environment  
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills
  • Fast hands and an ability to work autonomously and in a team
  • A demonstrated understanding of the Merlo workplace culture
