We are a busy cafe seeking a competent and experienced Barista to join our team. Applicants preferably have worked in a fast-paced café/restaurant environment.

• Multiple positions available in Port Melbourne
• Full Time / Part Time / Casual roles available - flexible hours/days - 38 hour per week

We are an Artisan Bakery that has grown into a successful business producing bread and pastry products, from scratch, using traditional methods. Beginning before 1825 in France and has continued in Australia by our 5th generation European Master Baker.

Noisette Bakery make products of the highest quality and supply wholesale customers across the Melbourne region.

We are now looking for full time/ part time/ casual experienced Cafe Assistants/Barista to join our retail cafe store in Port Melbourne.

Duties include but not limited:

General café duties and to assist in the smooth running and operation of the café. This includes being part of the team that is responsible for daily operations of the cafe; helping to maintain a clean and well-organised workspace; following the directions of management and adhering to the companies' guidelines. And most importantly, providing extraordinary customer service to all our great customers.

Shift hours are between:

Monday to Friday - 6:00am to 5:00pm

Saturday and Sunday - 6:00am to 4:00pm

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience in a cafe or other hospitality environment

• Experience with commercial espresso machines and coffee grinders

• Excellent customer service skills

• Current food safety certificate or willingness to obtain one

• Be able to communicate with front and back of house staff

• Familiarity with POS cash register systems

• Must be available at weekends
