Do you love coffee and want to grow your knowledge of specialty coffee?

We’re looking to grow our team of coffee specialists at our signature espresso bar at Kiwanda Café.

With its signature offering and the home of Zarraffa’s Coffee Research and Development, Roasting and Tours, Kiwanda is a space to hone your barista skills and work within the beating heart of Zarraffa’s.

Conveniently located midway between the Gold Coast and Brisbane, Kiwanda Café is located in Australia’s newest food and entertainment destination – Distillery Road Market.

We’re seeking coffee crafters, who are keen to increase their knowledge within the ‘mothership’. 

Barista responsibilities will include:

• Customer Service
• Cashing Orders
• Making Coffee

Supervisor responsibilities also include the below tasks:

• Reconcile till
• Supervise fellow staff
• Stock control
• Responding to customer feedback
• Food assembly responsibilities
• Responsible for open & closing of store

As a Supervisor you are expected to be highly professional, dynamic, organised, motivated and take "ownership" of successful stores. You should be disciplined and prepared to lead a hard working team by example, in a very fast paced work environment.  You must be capable of following through with staff development, be proactive in store marketing, have excellent communication skills and be responsible for the growth of the store. Full training and support will be provided and you will be reporting to the Manager/Franchisees.

• Casual position starting at 15-20 hours per week
• We’re open 7 days a week from 7am.

• Previous Barista experience
• Availability across 7 days including weekends and public holidays
• Positive attitude
• Confident and well spoken
• Impeccable presentation
• Capability to work and thrive in a fast-paced team environment
• Passionate about customer service and experience – we LOVE people who love people!
