Opening this June, Sky Bar Melbourne sits high in the heavens, offering guests a dining and bar experience like no other! Our spectacular venue comprises elegant lounges, VIP function spaces and Strato -  the restaurant, is romantically modern, seating up to 60 guests and providing exceptional views of Port Phillip Bay and the bustling city of Melbourne.

As Bartender of Sky Bar Melbourne, you will be assisting in the daily bar operations of Sky Bar Melbourne. You will support the Bar Manager in bringing to life Melbourne’s most exquisite rooftop venue. 

Your primary job is to ensure that Sky Bar Melbourne is remembered by each and every guest, for its vibe, view and menu offerings! Together you will share our extraordinary venue and create lasting memories. You will bring your flair and passion for creating and innovating mixed beverages for people casually visiting or attending special functions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

Key responsibilities and duties will include but not limited to: 

• Supporting the Bar Manager and Head Mixologist, in the daily bar operations of Sky Bar Melbourne
• Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages 
• Work with the Head Mixologist to create, develop and innovate new recipes for extraordinary cocktails 
• Ensure bar is stocked of all equipment and supplies for efficient operation.
• Monitor inventory of all beverages to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained. Ensure there is no stock shrinkage or discrepancies in inventory

ACADEMIC OR TRADE QUALIFICATIONS

Degree/Diploma in Hospitality Management or similar  preferred

Responsible Service of Alcohol required

WORK EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• At least two years previous experience as a Bartender in a high-end establishment.
• Extensive knowledge and passion for alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Proficiency in POS systems
• Excellent customer services and communication skills
