Bartender at The Shady Lady Fitzroy

JOB DESCRIPTION

Hello! We are looking to add 1 or 2 part time bartenders for between 5 and 20 hours a week (depending on your availability). We serve beer, wine, shots and cocktails, so you will need cocktail experience, but more importantly we are looking for someone friendly and enthusiastic- most of our customers are locals and regulars so you need to be down for a chat!

We are a small venue with a small team, so it is important that our new staff can match the energy we all bring. We are open 7 days from 6pm and serve to 1am every night. Almost every shift will be till close so you must be comfortable with late nights. 

We start pay at level 2 restaurant award wages, with all the associated penalty rates, so starting pay is $31.23 (more after 10pm and on weekends). If you are keen to meet new people in Melbourne and get involved, please hit us up!

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 1 year previous experience in the above or similar roles.

REQUIREMENTS

You will need to have your RSA and be experienced in working in bars and making cocktails.

We are a small capacity (60 ppl) dive bar in Fitzroy, serving cocktails with a focus on friendly, familiar service. Most of our customers are locals and come in regularly, so we pride ourselves on being engaged and fun! We operate 7 days a week and serve until 1am every night. We are a casual spot, but serve a high volume of cocktails on the weekends, so need someone with cocktail experience, as well as an enthusiastic attitude. If this sounds like you, come join us!
