JOB DESCRIPTION

The team at the Woollahra Hotel are searching for experienced bartenders to join our team.

As a member of the team you'll need:

  • NSW RSA
  • 2+ years bartending experience
  • A great team spirit and sociable nature
  • Excellent personal presentation
  • A lively charming and confident personality
  • A passion for learning
  • Available on weekends and nights

Rich in tradition since the 1930’s, THE WOOLLAHRA HOTEL IS A CENTREPIECE in Sydney’s EASTERN SUBURBS.

Recently refurbished, it’s the perfect venue to unwind and relax with friends, family and colleagues.

Upstairs, a lush vertical garden has been installed in the open rooftop terrace and is the perfect inner-city oasis. The Front Bar downstairs, formerly Bar Moncur, has been reinstated to bring back the casual, corner-pub experience in a well-preserved art deco setting – your perfect local pub for a cold beer and a meal.

The hotel offers an elevated pub dining experience with a modern Asian menu led by Head Chef, Jordan Muhammad (formerly Spice Temple, Chin Chin and Forty Licks). All your pub grub classics are also available.

Please note: You should have a minimum 2 years previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

As a member of the team you'll need a few things:

  • Team player - no one likes a bludger
  • Good chat - we are in hospitality after all. 
  • Ability to use an iron - be clean and presentable for each shift
  • Be open to constructive critisism - no ones perfect and we all have room to improve
  • Desire to keep things clean
  • Experience - know how to sling a good beer and shake a cocktail.
