The Island Hotel Is on the look out for professionals that have a high drive for excellence where it is food or drinks.

The Summer Season is just around the corner and we are looking at strengthening our team as well expanding our staff roster. We are on the look for some KILLER Bar tenders to join our on growing Team.

We are also looking for cocktail connoisseurs; those of you that have previous experience with classic cocktails and working in cocktail bars step right up and help us run our Rooftop bar that goes off on the weekends.

- You must have your RSA and COVID SAFE Cert

- Are able to work on the Weekends

- Thrive in fast service, cocktail heavy environment

- Have previous knowledge and experience in a cocktail venues and or classic cocktail knowledge

The ideal candidates for these fun and challenging roles will need to possess the following attributes:

- Bar and Cocktail experience 

- Function experience in a 5-star environment

- Proven success working in a team environment and the flexibility to handle changing customer needs with a friendly can do attitude

- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written).

- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights and weekends.

- QLD RSA
