JOB DESCRIPTION

We are a cafe situated between the Eastwood and Marsfield community. Most of our customers are regulars; mainly families and residents. We are dedicated to creating flavoursome meals for breakfast and lunch, using only the best seasonal local produce.

We are looking for a reliable and motivated chef to join our team with approximately 2 years of culinary experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the preparation, presentation and display of all menu items in the designated area of the kitchen and for the maintenance of equipment and work area.

RECOMMENDED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Chef de Partie

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2 years experience in a similar position
  • Possess a strong work ethic and have excellent communication skills
  • Can produce consistent quality
  • Have a positive and ‘can do’ attitude
  • Have a keen eye with high attention to detail
  • Would like to assist with menu planning and suggestions
  • Enjoy the benefits of expanding your experience and knowledge
  • Knowledge and adherence to Food Safety practices
  • Be up-to-date with culinary trends
  • Ability to work under pressure
