The Marina Cafe & Bar is seeking a new team member at their venue on Cockatoo Island, Sydney Australia.

ROLE

Cafe all rounder and team leader (Shared Level 5 Food and Beverage Supervisor Role) at our unique cafe and bar on Cockatoo Island, Sydney Harbour.

Responsible for:

- Opening and closing cafe & bar

- Leading casual team members in daily operations

- Customer service

- Customer bookings

- Barista Coffee

- Basic food prep

- Basic Quality control (working with food safety supervisor)

- Stock level management

- Cleaning of the cafe and bar

- Suporting the events ad catering team in the hosting of private events

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

This person will ideally fit into our small team with friendly culture, and will also have:

- Experience working in a busy cafe environment and work well under pressure (at least 2 years)

- Experience leading a team in hospiality

Must have Valid RSA

Food handelling or commercial cooky will be favoured 

Hours of Work - 38 per week 

Salary Package - Restaurant

$63,000 per annum for expericed and qualified person with best fit!

*Part Time (33 Hours per week) will also be considered

Working week:

Thursday 9:30am - 3:30pm

Frday 9:30am to 3:30pm

Saturday 9am to 5pm - Night Shift On Saturday Nights or Friday Nights / or extra day shift (5 hours)

Sunday 9am to 4pm

Monday 9:30am to 3:30pm

Tuesdays and Wednesdays off
