JOB DESCRIPTION

The first Pilgrims restaurant was opened in the South Coast town of Milton, NSW in 1980. Forty years later the famed South Coast institution has opened in the excusive beachside suburb of Bronte joining well known neigbours Iggy's Bread, Three Blue Ducks and Huxton's Cafe on Macpherson St. Pilgrims Bronte is a 80+ seat fully licenced venue open 7-days from 7am till 3pm with addtional dinner sittings on Fri & Saturday. 

Pilgrims Bronte is now on the search for an experienced FOH Cafe Manager to take the reins of its new operation. This exciting role will play a pivotal part in ensuring effective and efficient front of house operations. We're looking for an experienced professional, you'll be a hands on team player who will ensure exceptional delivery of the quality product and service Pilgrims has been known for the past 40 years as well as managing a team of 20+.

REQUIREMENTS

This FULL-TIME position will require weekend and public holiday work - daily role and responsibilities to include:

• Key staff management role on day-to-day floor staff roster (Dispatch, POS and/or Maitre D)
• Coordinate all front of the house operationsIn coordination and consultation with Pilgrims Bronte management team; ongoing coordination of all FOH staff, including development of staff training protocol and on-boarding covering both food and beverage service
• In coordination and consultation with Pilgrims Bronte management team ongoing review of kitchen systems, supplier management and protocol
• In coordination and consultation with Pilgrims Bronte management team ongoing review of supplier product quality, pricing and research
of new vendors
• Ongoing review of operational expenditure and identification of measures to cut spending where suitable
• Ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene and health and safety legislation/guidelines
• Preparation of weekly/monthly store reports
• Product/menu quality control
• Responsible for implementation of company protocol related to any customer complaints
