We’re looking for a chef/cook with experience to work in our cool vintage Ladybug Airstream food trailer in Fortitude Valley, and also during events in our venues Lightspace and Loyal Hope.
There would be a few shifts Monday to Friday for breakfast and lunch service, then other shifts as necessary for events- mostly on Friday and Saturday nights.
Tasks includes…
- prep and ensuring food safety standards are met
- creating high quality fresh food that is beautifully presented
- ensuring service timings are met
- liaising with clients to ensure they have the best possible experience
Previous experience in a similar environment is essential, as is an eye for detail, responsible attitude and a passion for producing delicious food. Pizza making experience is a bonus.
We offer a fantastic and fun place to work. There is also flexibility with shifts.

Lightspace is a unique warehouse venue in Brisbane’s creative precinct of Fortitude Valley. With ample open space, the venue can be booked as one 660m2 room, or two distinct internal spaces. These can be subdivided into smaller areas for more intimate functions. Each hire has exclusive use as we never host two events at the same time.
