About the Role

 

Due to extensive growth, PM-Partners group is looking for Casual Venue Attendants to join our existing team who will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness & daily servicing of all training rooms & common facilities, assisting & supervising with the management of day-to-day Training Course operations, & helping clients & students where needed.

 

This is a casual position, with shifts to be worked between 7.30am - 6pm from Monday to Friday (although some evening & weekend availability may be required where needed).

 

  • Immediate start available
  • Casual Hourly Hospitality Award Rates
  • Sydney CBD location, close to public transport

 

Key components of the Venue Attendant role include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness & daily servicing of all training rooms & common facilities
  • Organising training rooms daily & making sure all equipment is set up ready for the day
  • Breakout duties include but are not limited to: setting up catering, cleaning tables & service areas, washing dishes
  • Meeting & greeting trainers & students as they arrive, checking with the trainers if there are any concerns regarding the room setups, & making the students feel welcome
  • Moving throughout the workplace, carrying items, etc.
  • Providing daily support to the Operations / Logistics Manager & Coordinator
  • Accepting & packing deliveries
  • Ensuring adequate supplies & equipment stock
  • Adhering to WHS regulations & quality standards

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 6 months previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

Key Skills & Qualities include:

  • Proven experience in Hospitality Industry is desirable, with a solid understanding of Hospitality procedures & best practice / WHS quality standards
  • Ability to prioritise tasks in order to meet time frames & deadlines
  • Well groomed, self-motivated, and able to work autonomously & as part of a team
  • Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail
  • Professional attitude & great customer service skills

 

PM-Partners group's ‘Dress Code Policy’ requires all Venue Attendants to wear smart business attire on all days that they perform work for PM-Partners. Venue Attendants are therefore required to wear work appropriate black trousers (not jeans) or a skirt, coupled with a corporate buttoned shirt / or blouse / or PM-Partners polo shirt, along with appropriate enclosed footwear.

 

PM-Partners will provide all Venue Attendants with 2 x PM-Partners polo shirts which you will have the option to wear on your working days going forward, should you wish to, in accordance with the dress code policy.
