JOB DESCRIPTION

Ingleburn RSL Club & Ingleburn Bowling Club are conveniently located in South West Sydney, just a short drive from the Brooks Road Exit of the M5 motorway, and in close proximity to public transport. With a strong membership base of over 18,000 members, and growing; along with a strong affiliation with the local community, including sporting, lawn bowling and recreation activities, RSL and special interest groups.

Club features; A collaborative team culture, Salute Restaurant, The Poppy Cafe, Beverage facilities, Gaming facilities, Cash Housie, Trivia, TAB, Keno and state of the art Function Rooms, Tabatinga Fun & Social Centre and Lawn Bowls and Barefoot Bowls at Ingleburn Bowling Club.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Cellarperson to join this dynamic and fun team. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this critical role will be responsible for maintaining the day-to-day cellar operations with a high attention to detail between the two sites.

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 6 months previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

Experience in this or similar role with a strong work ethic along with being a self-starter, proactive with the ability to work with minimal supervision would be desirable. Having completed an ‘Operate and Monitor Cellar Systems’ course or similar would be advantageous although not essential. You will be available to work predominantly Monday to Friday during the day with occasional weekend work when required. With a strong desire to drive exceptional customer experiences, you will effortlessly provide a high level of service to internal and external customers through effective time management and superior interpersonal skills. Strong commercial acumen. Your initiative and solution orientated approach along with a current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and Responsible Conduct of Gaming (RCG) will be essential.

Your role, whilst not limited to:

  • Check beverage and consumable stock levels and re-stock the bars;
  • Completion of appropriate documentation pertaining to stock movements;
  • Liaise with stakeholders regarding stock orders and deliveries;
  • Process stock orders in accordance with club procedures and systems;
  • Organise, receive and accept deliveries;
  • Receive incoming goods, checking for damage and discrepancies between goods and invoices;
  • Maintain specified stock levels;
  • Tight stock control, stock take and transfers through Jensens Ideal POS system;
  • Invoice data entry, creating stock items, price recommendations to achieve targeted GP%;
  • Providing suggestions and solutions on new products to increase sales;
  • Solid level phone and email communication;
  • Keg, package, wine and post mix management;
  • Maintenance & cleanliness of cellar area and equipment;
  • Beer line maintenance & cleaning to an exceptional high standard; along with
  • Maintain a safe work environment and represent on WHS committee.
