JOB DESCRIPTION

The Emerald Hotel in South Melbourne , a family owned and operated family business for over 30 years in South Melbourne, is looking for a Chef to join our kitchen staff.   

If you are looking for a work/life/family balance, we operate 5 days a week, Tuesday to Saturday, lunch & dinner, providing pub favourites to our easy going Emerald customers.  We are not a late night venue which further promotes the work/life balance outside of your working week.

The ideal candidate is organised, has experience in working in a busy pub/restaurant environment, enjoys working in a friendly small team and is open to adding their own flair to our menu.  

This is an excellent opportunity for a career minded chef with sponsorship available for the right candidate.

 

 

 


RECOMMENDED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 1 year previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

  • 1 year + experience 
  • Coordinating & preparing orders
  • Ordering stock
  • Being a team player
  • Coordinating rosters & staff
