JOB DESCRIPTION

Ardi’s Block to Grill is more than your local, artisan butcher.

Founded by Ardi in 2018 because of his passion for preserving the traditional values of butchering, Ardi’s Block to Grill has become somewhat of a Surry Hills institution. 2023 is an exciting year for Ardi’s, with a second location opened on Clovelly Road.

Ardi’s passion for providing high quality meat, produce, a delicious in-house dining menu. With a range of home-cooked ready-made meals, he is recognised both by his loyal customers and within the industry as both anchoring the foundations, while innovating.

Ardi has acheived an almost impossible feat of mainting a 5 star review rate on google with nearly 200 reviews. This in itself speaks for the quality, atmosphere and the pride Ardi takes in his work.

With our second location open we require a chef, working from our Clovelly location. 

This location has been completely fitted out, is sparkling and new, just waiting for the right person to begin the adventure.

Clovelly will be a fast paced location and needs a highly organised and motivated individual with a passion for the best quality foods.

There may be times when you may be required to be at the Surry Hills location.


RECOMMENDED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Please note: You should have a minimum 2 years previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

Duties include:

- Manage stock and procurement alongside Ardi.

- Maintain a clean work environment, our restaurant is brand new and sparkling and we want to keep it that way

- Manage pre-pack stock and ensure it is consistently stocked

- Prepare and cook high quality dishes following exisiting recipes

- Document new recipe ideas 

- Knowledge of Food Safety standards and procedures
