We specialise in making the best plant based milk. Our food is freshly handmade in our cafe inspired from Italian cuisine using high quality fresh and simple ingredients.

The Role

We have exciting opportunity available in our new cafe' in St Kilda for experienced chefs that have the knowledge and professionalism for making breakfast and has knowledge of Italian cuisine. The cafe seats 30-40 patrons and we do both dine in and take away trade.

We specialised in breakfast/brunch cuisine but we have a variety of foccacia's, and main courses also (lasagne, meatballs, gnocchi and more).

About You

• High work ethics and leadership skills
• Formal trade qualification in cooking and relevant work experience minimum 2 years.
• Demonstrated experience in breakfast cookery and Italian cooking techniques and menu creation e.g. being able to create seasonal dishes, trendies, combining flavours, create vegan and vegetarian options
• Excellent organisational skills and time management to handle multiple priorities including being able to work in a fast speed environment, coordinating with the Front of House staff, stock taking, high standard of hygiene practices, great communication skills
• A working understanding of and ability to maintain food safety standards and HACCP.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and public holidays.
