Located in the heart of Mount Gravatt, Southern Cross Sports Club is a well-loved venue known for great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and strong ties to our local community.

We’re currently looking for a Chef to join our team.

If you love delivering great food quickly, consistently, and with pride, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Prepping and cooking menu items to a high standard

• Keeping the pass flowing during rush periods

• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe workspace

• Assisting with stock rotation, prep lists & daily kitchen tasks

• Working closely with our friendly team to keep the vibe positive and efficient

 Shifts & Availability

• Full-time and casual positions available

• Mornings, days, nights

• Some late nights

• Weekends (our busiest time!)

Reliability and flexibility are key — the world moves fast, and so do we.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen (preferred, but we’ll train the right person!)

• Someone who thrives under pressure

• Passion for food, consistency, and cleanliness
