JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you ready to join our team?

Reporting to the Chef Manager and working with a team of catering staff you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality catering service to our residents. This role is essential in the preparation and overseeing the provision of the resident’s daily meals in accordance with dietary requirements whilst working cooperatively with care staff in a fun and positive work environment.

REQUIREMENTS

We are looking for someone with:

We are committed to providing our residents with the highest standards of catering

  • Good interpersonal communication with staff, residents and families
  • Must be organised, have good time management skills and clean work processes
  • Diploma in Catering / Cooking or Cert 4 Commercial Cookery
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate preferred
  • Food Handling Certificate
  • Knowledge and experience with modified texture food and drinks
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Understanding of OH&S, Food Safety legislation and record keeping
