JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for determined and passionate CDPs to join our team at the Iris Hotel Group - the Homebush Hotel! 

The right person for the role will be a driven individual that enjoys the rush of a busy service and is adept at managing different areas of the kitchen. You will be part of an experienced kitchen team and will lead by example in this varied role, executing a casual bistro menu. 

This is an opportunity to join a culinary team who aspire for greatness in a casual environment. A team who work together to deliver exceptional quality across all facets of the bistro operations.

Chef de Partie
Commis Chef
Pizza Chef
Sous chef

REQUIREMENTS

Please only apply if you fulfill the following criteria:

  • Previous chef/cook  experience within a similar fast-paced environment
  • The ability to run a smooth, organized service
  • Team leadership skills
  • Passionate about the end product
  • Professional, polished appearance (for our open kitchen)
  • A positive attitude
  • Desire to succeed in your chosen career
  • At least Certificate IV in Cookery + two years full-time experience OR four years of experience.
  • Salary range 60k to 80K, depending on position and experience.
