We are looking for a passionate, reliable and motivated Chef de Partie to join our talented team, with a background showing previous culinary experience.

As a Chef de Partie you will be responsible for the preparation, presentation and display of fine dining menu items in the designated area of the Kitchen and for the maintenance of equipment and work area. You will also enjoy contributing creatively and mentoring of junior staff.

Must be able to work a rotating roster including weekends. Includes evenings for dinner service and functions.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Unlimited working rights and able to full time hours.
  • Hold a formal, relevant qualification (minimum Certificate III Commercial Cookery)
  • A minimum of 3-4 years’ experience within a similar environment – hotel style modern or fine dining restaurants and be experienced in food preparation for functions.
  • Possess a strong work ethic and have excellent communication skills
  • Can produce consistent quality
  • Have a positive and ‘can do’ attitude
  • Have a keen eye with high attention to detail
  • Would like to assist with menu planning and suggestions
  • Enjoy the benefits of expanding your experience and knowledge
  • Ability to work under pressure
