Koko is known for its serene setting aided by a beautiful water feature garden that takes pride of place in the restaurant. Koko offers teppanyaki, a la carte tables, a sake bar, sushi bar, tatami and teppanyaki rooms, all with breathtaking views of the Yarra River and the Melbourne city skyline.

Your responsibilities will include supporting the management team in the day to day operation as well as providing leadership, support and coaching to your allocated section.

Skills and Experience: 

• Extensive Japanese cuisine experience in a Chef de Partie role or similar, within a premium dining environment
• Hot Kitchen or Sushi/Sashimi experience is essential  
• Ability to maintain high and consistent standards
• Demonstrated organisational, time management and delegation skills
• Exceptional communication skills and experience with customer interaction
• Understanding of food safety standards and HACCP 
• You must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 (including booster shots if eligible) or have a genuine medical exception to be eligible to work onsite at Crown
