Chef de Partie - Parra Leagues Club

Start: ASAP Where: Parramatta, NSW Type: Full time Pay: On application

JOB DESCRIPTION

Parra Leagues Club is ready to welcome a Chef de Partie who knows their way around flavour, teamwork and a face-paced service.

The position will report to our Executive Chef for Parra Leagues Group and will be focused on working in our premium Cafe outlet - Member's Lounge. There may be requirements to work in other outlets across the Group.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain menu planning, stock and ordering requirements.
  • Ensure minimal wastage for all food outlets.
  • Ensure that the cafe will meet or exceed operational, service and OH&S procedures, systems, and general requirements.
  • Servicing a lunch and dinner menu - including pizza, pasta and bistro offerings.
  • Preparation and management of catering for regular functions.

About you:

  • Experience working back of house in a cafe setting.
  • Experience in Functions and event days.
  • Highly reliable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Experience as Chef De Partie, Commi Chef or a similar position either in a Hotel, Restaurant, or club environment.
  • Relevant trade qualifications and experience in commercial cooking (desirable).
  • RSA qualification or willing to obtain (desirable).
  • Full working rights in Australia.
  • Ability to drive and have own transport (desirable).
