ABOUT WHERE WE WORK

A part of Morris Hospitality, The Portsea Hotel is located on the Port Phillip Bay coastline of the Mornington Peninsula. Our food offering takes inspiration from the Italian coastlines and makes the best use of fresh, local and seasonal produce with a focus on seafood dishes. In addition to the main kitchen, the venue also has ‘Fatto Da Mamma’ which offers an authentic wood-fired pizza selection.

The Portsea Hotel is seeking a passionate professional that is enthusiastic, energetic and self-motivated.

There is also limited live-in accommodation available for some successful applicants.

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 2 years previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

REQUIREMENTS

To be considered for the position you must possess the following;

  • At least 1-year experience within a similar role.
  • Thrive in a high volume, high-pressure environment.
  • Maintain composure under pressure.
  • Desire to elevate the profile of the venue with exceptional products.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Ability to follow directions and support team goals.
  • A passion to craft your skills & embrace learning.
  • Maintaining high and consistent standards of products.
  • Time management and outstanding organisational skills.

Candidates must provide certificates outlining suitable qualifications and references.
